Now for the act V summary ! - Midsummer night's dream (FINAL)

This the last act in the book. After this the book is over. I hope it goes out with a BANG!

Hippolyta and Theseus are searching for something to watch before they go to sleep. they consult their wedding planner, Philostrate and look thru some plays. They stop amongst Peter Quince's play "A tedious short drama about young Pyramus and his love Thisbe, a very sad and tragic comedy" Thesues is intrigued at the title and decides to watch it. Hippolyta doesn't want to see it because she feels bad for the actors trying to do something good and being entertained by how bad they're doing it. They watch it anyway. The play was performed and Bottom said countless things out of character they were ridiculous. Thesues, Demetrius, Lysander and Hippolyta kept interrupting the play. The actors did a terrible job and the most obvious things were said as comical relief. The play ended with the actors finishing their play and Theseus and Hippolyta going to bed.

In my opinion this was an extremely entertaining play and the actors really were the comical relief. Sometimes is Shakespeare's plays you don't get the comedy but these guys it was more their actions because of their words not just words like a punch line. Their attitude was what was comical because they weren't trying to be funny they just were and that's what was really funny.

GOOD CHOICE MR.GALLO!
